Every so often a tough decision comes up for which I could use some direction. Being your mathematical imperial scientific type of guy I place a lot of value in the conventional way of figuring things out - and I also recognize that there are some people who are ‘gifted’ when it comes to insights you can’t take a picture of. I went to Ian with a challenge - I had an important career direction to consider, and I just didn’t know what to do, and was open to an alternative way of getting insights.

Ian came over that night with a sheet of information he had already channeled earlier, and though I didn’t quite understand the content, there was a good sense of what to do, and I ended up turning down an offer from an employer that had offered me what appeared to be good work. A risk? Yes, but I’d had previous experience with Ian’s information and I had developed a trust in his perceptions.

At the time, the message had made reference to ‘waiting’ for something else - however, it seemed a little cryptic and I just forgot about it.

While going through some papers the other day my girlfriend came across Ian’s message and only then did I realize that the information he had given was amazing, that he had accurately described conditions that later occurred in my life. As a result of Ian’s direction I was able to take advantage of an employment offer that showed up "out of the blue" and resulted in something that is truly rewarding and enjoyable. How often do you hear someone say "I love my job", but I do - and I have Ian to thank for that.
